梁皇懺

(梁皇懺, 梁皇忏)

The litany of Liang Wudi for his wife, who became a large snake, or dragon, after her death, and troubled the emperor's dreams. After the litany was performed, she became a (sa) devi, thanked the emperor, and departed.

梁武帝為了亡后郗氏墮落蟒蛇身， 乃作慈悲道場懺法十卷， 請僧禮懺， 以便超度， 後世因名之為梁皇懺。
